3. Community Guidelines & Prohibited Conduct

To preserve a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment, you expressly agree NOT to:

• Harass, stalk, intimidate, threaten, bully, or defame any person.
• Use abusive language, profanity, slurs, or toxic acronyms in private or room chats.
• Distribute unsolicited commercial advertising, spam, chain letters, or pyramid schemes.
• Transmit sexually explicit, pornographic, violent, or obscene content.
• Engage in hate speech, discrimination, or incite violence against individuals or groups.
• Impersonate any person, brand, or entity, or provide deceptive information.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, DDoS, or attempt to compromise server infrastructure.

4. Content Safety, Reporting & Moderation

Nearby Chat provides automated content moderation filters, user blocking, and incident reporting tools. Our moderation team actively reviews reported users, messages, and community rooms. We reserve the right to issue warnings, remove violating content, temporarily suspend, or permanently terminate accounts found in violation of these Terms without prior notice.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Nearby Chat is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Nearby Chat does not endorse or guarantee the veracity of user statements in private or room chats. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nearby Chat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the service.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, and courts having competent jurisdiction shall resolve any disputes arising from or relating to the service.
